How to choose the right gearbox?

Short Maintenance & Inspection Checklist
Check gearbox oil level and condition regularly; most potato harvester gearboxes use 80W-90 or equivalent gear oil. Inspection is typically recommended every ~50 operating hours or per manufacturer guidelines.
Inspect seals, shafts, mounting bolts, and drive components for wear or looseness, especially after operation in wet or heavy soil.
Monitor abnormal noise, vibration, or temperature increases during operation, and address issues promptly to avoid secondary damage.
